Exactly why I don't take the numbers from the launch monitor seriously.
The playing condition around here is not optimal for sure. Out of all the golf balls tried that day, ProV1 probably was the shortest and K Sig was right after it. I doubt I have triple digit golf swing that day. In a micer climate, with proper warm up, I should still have close to 100 MPH on the driver even after the surgery a few years back.
Maybe I had a box of the K Sig, with different core, for rumor had it there were several different "core" used for the Costco batch. I'll find out for sure if the K Sig, I have is truly lack the distance than other premium golf balls when the weather gets warmer and drier, which is not in the near future.
There are buyers paying over $40 per dozen on the auction block, still. Amazing.
