Rickochet Spuzz meh Is the blue not bright enough? 😀 I like the size of the head but methinks the graphics look cheap no matter what color.
Taki27 Spuzz They look kinda Walmart or Costco brand to me. Maltby had been doing so much better in the club looks department until this.
colej sdandrea1 looks ok but honestly the price point needs to be lower... on a different note, I scrolled down and read the comments in the link. Guy asks if they’re gonna be submitted for USGA approval? Lol
fatshot colej "Guy asks if they’re gonna be submitted for USGA approval? Lol" Yeah....I can't see too many M890 players competing in the US Amateur or Open.....!!! 😀
fatshot Interesting....I would have preferred a little straighter top line and a squarer toe though. With the MPF at 851 they ought to be easy to hit. I notice they have 5* increments between the wedges and 4* for everything else. I'll definitely check them out in person next time I get to The Golfworks in Newark. Funny how my "taste" in irons has changed as I've gotten older and need more "help" from my clubs....
Subsonic One thing I always liked about golfworks game improvement irons is they do not get crazy with the offset. Price does not look too bad. $12 each and papaD would be all in!
Rickochet Definitely a generous size head at over 87mm in length. I have always disliked GW listing specs in inches when most others use metric.
sdandrea1 scotts33 To many other good Super Game Improvement iron models out there at a better price. Available to the general public, or professional builders? Examples?
scotts33 The XV line Steve. Start there and your old Eye2's with your favorite shaft are as good as these IMO especially at $19/head. Folks just looking for another new product.
sdandrea1 scotts33 The XV line Steve Those came to mind as well. Half the price, although availability is becoming an issue. What else?
pellmell scotts33 It comes down to QC. The M890 face will be flat and conforming with USGA rules, not concave or convex, like the XV"s
shokosugi Taki27 I agree, cheap looking and dated looking as well- "meh" is the best way to describe these unfortunately.
