Yeah, it is powerful. Just a couple of side notes. Sam Cooke was a central figure of the civil rights movement. Also, Sam Cooke was only 33 when he was shot and killed in 1964.
There’s some who think he was the victim of being robbed by a woman who he was with when he was shot and killed by the motel manager who was also a woman.
Tragic ending to one of the greatest singers of that time.
