Hoping this group makes some more original music. Have heard an album is soon to drop.

Well, not sure how to imbed but worth a click if you like all female rock music!

Kind of weird that some vids embed and some don't....could be something new on Youtube's side. 🤨

I am still in amazement that this incredibly talented musician continues to put out some of the dullest music every created. Thinking about the 38 minutes and 21 seconds of my life that I just wasted makes me sob rock.

Sparky Lol, what kind of album name is that anyway? Maybe he was just being honest that the music was gonna make you want to cry.

Promossional video from my Brother's band "Weapons of God" and the release of their 2nd album, September 3rd, 2021.

WORLD PREMIERE VIDEO AND NEW SINGLE FROM WEAPONS OF GOD

        PRESS RELEASE

        July 20, 2021
        Roxx Records

Weapons of God announces their return, bringing a new set of Jesus Metal songs to fans with the release of their sophomore CD, The War Within US. The forthcoming CD is a follow-up to their 2019 debut CD, Weapons of God and is set to be released on September 3, 2021. The members are Steve McGowan and Leon Black once again on guitars and sharing the lead vocals. Ed Girard is on bass guitar and Greg Alan on the drums.

Along with the album announcement, today also marks the release of the first single and video from the album, "War Within" premiering exclusively on Roxx Records and Weapons of God channels on YouTube.

Weapons of God are playing regionally and are frequently leading Worship at the First Heavy Metal Church of Christ in Dayton, Ohio and they will be playing at the Rock-N-The-River in Diamond City, Arkansas October 2, 2021 along with Bred 4 War, 3 Days Under, Becoming Sons, Tetalastai, Bayou Believers and Rising Within.

Weapons of God recorded the The War Within US in Dayton, Ohio with Engineer, Ron Pease at Refraze Recording Studios. Pease has worked with other bands in the past such as The Goo Goo Dolls, Nelson, and ex-guitarist from Megadeth, Jeff Young.

The War Within US is composed of ten new tracks including: a heavy, crushing, instrumental song to kick off the CD, “Deep Wordless Knowledge", the blistering, southern, dirty metal song, “Give 'Em Jesus", the chaotic, driven force of "Isolate", and the powerful but mellow song, "I Am with You". Completing the CD are two bonus track rerecordings from the debut CD Weapons of God: "Anger" and "Weapons of God".

And, while each song varies in tone, the songs are all originals and circle back to one universal theme. The War Within US is about the war and destruction of the world, the war within our country and the war within our minds. Hence, the "US" is capitalized in the title for the United States and for each of US for the personal and daily fight against the spiritual warfare of evil and its temptations, and the rise and outcome in the end for the need of our Savior.

Stay tuned as we get ready to launch pre orders in early August:

I remember listening to this song on my cassette deck in my bedroom back in the mid 80's, while I was getting dressed for Prom night.

Mostly, I listen to country music, preferably the older classic country that almost nobody plays on the radio anymore. That said, Pandora music has been mixing Midland and tossing this guy in. He has more of a late 80's- 90's sound, aside from that he is pretty good.

The 40 year anniversary edition! The original CD remastered. 2nd CD full of different songs and alternate versions. And then a DVD with 15 music videos and a full 1982 ONJ concert. Ah, the glorious 80s video productions, so bad it's better than any comedy.

Boring day in the proshop when it rains. Looked up this one... cool to see one of the Twisted guys up there with Nick.

SVonhof BTW, for anyone who likes 80's metal, a guy we used to work with has met a LOT of the old band members and finally got his own app, called "Hairball John Radio" on Apple and Android. You don't control what you listen to at all, but there is some stuff on there that you likely never would know unless you bought the albums.
        https://www.hairballjohn.com/

I mentioned this a while back and found out recently that John has entered into an agreement with a company for syndication. They are now going to approach FM stations about distribution and advertising. John will retain control over every aspect of the show itself.

I hope it all works out and he gets on stations all over the place!

Hairball John Radio" is a 24/7 music app dedicated to 80's hair/classic metal. HBJ Radio proudly features deep tracks and songs from lesser known bands in regular rotation along with mainstream hits. It is not uncommon to hear bands like Shark Island, Asphalt Ballet and Heavy Bones played along side Bon Jovi, Tesla and Def Leppard. Download the free app and find out why Hair Nation is losing listeners at a record pace to Hairball John Radio.

Mississippi Queen, a pretty good version. One of the best concerts I ever attended was a Mountain concert in Sioux Falls, SD back in the 70's. Leslie West and Felix Pappalardi had to work pretty hard to get the audience "with them" after their lead in band was done. The band was Black Oak Arkansas. Great concert!

There is no Youtube link for this. I’m sitting up stairs listening to Nick play along to all the songs in the set for the upcoming Dee Snider show. So you hear Dee and the band but Nick playing his parts live.

Wild, like a private concert .

I’m going thru an a cappella groove lately. I can’t decide if I like Voiceplay or Home Free better.

Wife was watching this movie recently. I'm a sucker for a Jim Steinman song

Like these videos of younger people reacting to classics. In this case it's Lay Down (Candles In The Rain) by Melanie. My sister loved Melanie back then. Played her songs to death. One of my wife's coworkers knows Melanie as she has a home nearby. Powerful voice. Great singer / songwriter. Goose bump song. lol
