I can't get the lyric, "It only takes me from me." out of my head. A song about the deleterious effects being an alcoholic can have on a relationship. That line about only taking me from me is so wrong. It takes "me" from "everyone" not just "me". Video is heartbreaking to watch for me for some reason.

If you like reggae, these guys are pretty good and they have some cool drone shot vids.

Anybody here listen to Post Modern Jukebox on YouTube?

Rarely find lyrics as deep, jarring and honest as these. Soul clutching. "Lament" is a masterpiece of songwriting.

BTW, for anyone who likes 80's metal, a guy we used to work with has met a LOT of the old band members and finally got his own app, called "Hairball John Radio" on Apple and Android. You don't control what you listen to at all, but there is some stuff on there that you likely never would know unless you bought the albums.

Remake of one of my all time favs. I think I like this version better. Dude in middle can sang.

Very disappointed in myself. As a lifelong hater of Beck's ("Where It's At" and "Loser"....just awful), I happened upon a disc of Sea Change in a box of CDs that a guy in town was giving away. Gave it a spin, and dang it, it's really good.

Rather cool look at life on the road for Nick with his local band while introducing their new single. No 5 star hotels on the local scene.

If anyone likes Tom Petty you should check out Roger Cline and the Peacemakers. Their 1st big band was the Refreshments. Albums to check out are Fizzy Fuzzy Big and Buzzy and Americano. Roger is an AZ Native and has done a lot for the AZ music scene.

Sorry if this has been mentioned already - but if you haven't heard of 8D music, check it out. Just go on youtube and search for your song in 8D audio - pretty neat stuff!

This is what perfection looks and sounds like.

So... this Russian band that does the fantastic Chicago covers that some of us have posted links to? Who make it look incredibly easy? Well, turns out that there's a lot more hard work involved than the finished product would otherwise suggest. They just posted a behind-the-scenes look at some of the challenges with learning how to sing in American English. It's incredible that they can adapt the way they do and make their voices sound authentic, let alone the instrumental precision!

Thought some might find it interesting on an otherwise boring Wednesday.
