03trdblack $999 purchase price and $150 trade in value. I hit these and they are phenomenal but so are a lot of other irons out there in that price range. If these were $799 or lower I would have them for sure. The Tommy Armour range has gotten really decent. The new 845 driver is one of the lowest spin drivers I've hit and sounds and feels really good. Only the SIM had spin numbers as low as the 845 and ballspeed was within 1mph of each other.

Par4QC ode And they are less that 1/2 price already? Have they been exploding? Reason I question it is because the clubs we are looking at today, will also be the 2021 models, for all companies. If you think about it, you'll understand why I say that.
Par4QC ode I saw them before the virus shutdown. I'd have to agree. And, I most certainly do not need another driver. I'll still be trying out new ones next year, that I have now.
sdandrea1 Par4QC I'll still be trying out new ones next year, that I have now. Only if you go out and actually play golf, Rex. 😃
ode Par4QC Par4QC I'll still be trying out new ones next year, that I have now. I know that feeling 😷 😅
Par4QC sdandrea1 Good thing about graphite and titanium, neither will rust. I have to be sure I'm still around to use them.... when I can use them. I'm making sure my wife doesn't get to sell them for what I told her they cost.
Tinker They call these forged but they look like a chassis with a face welded on. Which part is forged?’ I always thought the point of forging was to use a softer metal with a more dense , grain flowed piece of metal. All foam does is control sound and shock.
sdandrea1 Tinker The definition of "forged" has evolved greatly over the last few decades. Pounding a hunk of carbon steel into a shape is where it began, but........
toraider Tinker The body is forged from 1025 soft carbon steel which is attached to a high-strength HT1770 steel L-Cup face. https://mygolfspy.com/tommy-armour-845-irons/
Typhoon sdandrea1 Yeah, they call the Taylormade p790 and the Ping i500 irons “ forged” now too. I don’t even put together puzzles with that many pieces!!
KCee MyGolfSpy did an early review of those and loved them. I'm sort of hoping they're super cheap at some point too,
JeffTilley Probably won’t last long if prices drop due to only 500 sets available. They’re on my radar, but not for $999.......
KCee pellmell True, they wrote hardly anything, but in their podcast a few of them were practically gushing over how good it felt hitting them. Of course they've done that with other products and then when they actually do a full club test with all their testers the same clubs come out mid pack at best.
