Rex can get his golf fix by âplayingâ at an indoor golf simulatorâŠ..I know, I knowâŠ.it ainât the same, and it sure is NOT like real golf, but you can swing the club, hit the ball, etc. without being bundled up in cold weather / rain gear. I played at one two years ago and swore Iâd never bother again, b/c the âchipping and puttingâ were impossible for
me to figure out.
But weâve always gone to FLA for about a month in January or February, and playing and practicing there was enough to keep me satisfied until the weather broke up north. There are a few of those sim places here in town, and I guess they even have âleaguesâ if you want to âplayâ every week. I do go to one of these places just to hit balls for 1/2 hour or an hour, but I donât âplay.â Just a thoughtâŠ..
