Typhoon Rare fun day. Went down the “The Range “ bar and Grill in Hingham for our best friends daughters baby shower. Good time. I drive her down and then my friend Jim is there with his 2 SIL’s and we hit a few balls at the range, have a few beers go back out, hit some more, have a few beers. Great time with a great family.
sdandrea1 Watched SWMBO supervise our landscaping guy while he enlarged a flower bed, planted 3 trees, moved one tree and planted 2 Crepe Myrtles. Then I supervised the same guy in our backyard down by the river. He limbed up some more trees to widen our water view. Cut the "grass" down to 2.5" and marked the sprinklers. Aeration, seed and compost coming on Monday.
Rickochet LBlack14 Went to the Loveland BMV and then loaded up @ Costco. I'll tell ya what I'm not gonna do is change the headlight bulbs in the Challenger. What a pain in the ass....and hands. Looks like what I did changing the filters and oil on my Toro ZT mower two weeks ago. I am just now healing up. By the time I realized I was all cut up and bleeding it was too late to put on gloves. Plus I hate wearing gloves.
sdandrea1 LBlack14 Meee too!! I drop more shit, wearing gloves. Amen. Gloves give decent protection but can't feel anything. I just use my callouses for protection now, unless I'm dealing with cleaning thorns. Then it's full kevlar.
LBlack14 I actually got up this morning and went and bought a couple pair of Carhartt, cold weather, gloves, for work. Cut the grass, trimmed and blew everything off. I'm done. Now, food and football.
Walterjn Only reason I will wear gloves by choice is when it's freaking cold. Only gloves I own are all for the cold. Otherwise, don't be a wussy.

sdandrea1 Threw a nice bash for SWMBO'S 70TH. Family and close friends at a nice local outdoor venue. Drinks, appetizers, dinner, desert. Awesome night.
