Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Going to bed early because we've got to get up a 3:00 am to drive to Phoenix to drop the dog off at my sons place and catch a flight to Tulsa for a wedding.

Some places, everyone drives fast, other places traffic makes driving faster than 30mph feel like speeding.

Changed out two of our toilet seats. Builder grade plastic crap gone, wooden seats with metal hinges installed.

Worked a bunch since I was off yesterday. Getting my oil changed now… kept forgetting… 7k miles later🙄

Found time to get to the range just to try what I thought was wrong with my swing. Only a 7 iron, driver and small bucket. Fixed it, wrote it down, now I can pack the clubs away for winter.

Went to grandson Corey's football game. Middle School. He's Jesse's "little" brother. 5'10", 185. He's TWELVE (7th grade). Offensive tackle, blind side. Jesse is 15 now and is 1/2" taller and a few pounds lighter. I think little brother is going to pass by big brother in size.

In the winter I like to throw my clothes in the dryer while I shower and then take them out and put on hot clothes…. Mmmmmmm

It was nice and cool in the garage today so I did an oil change and filters on my Toro Zturn mower. It is the smaller of the Toro fleet so space is limited getting big hands in tiny spaces. Lots of sharp metal and as usual not designed by the dudes that have to work on this stuff. Everything is hard to get to. It took lots of swearing during and lots of bandaids after. And to top it off I turned over the old oil jug on the garage floor. I was more frustrated than a midget with a yoyo. Then I got the grass mowed. I was amazed how much the grass had greened up and grown after the Helene rains. Then with work done Anni and I went out on the deck and enjoyed the 70° day with a cold beverage. 😎

On the way to geezer band rehearsal, I'm leaving the house and as I slide my hand down the front steps guard rail, something bites or stings me on my left hand. I never saw the little bastard but it felt like a wasp or bee sting. My hand got swollen, hot and red but I made it through band practice. It's still swollen and itchy. Took two Benadryl and I've been icing it. Got some chills and fatigue too. Ugh.
