Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Drove down to Columbus to watch one of our granddaughters march with the high school band in the 4th of July parade. Then over to our daughter's house for a cookout with hers and my son's families. Good time.....good
food.....the Mrs. even offered to drive home so I snuck in a short nap in the car! Now relaxing in the Lazy Boy....perfect day!!! 😎

I just figure how much my property taxes and insurance will be per month and transfer that amount into my savings account monthly, so the money is there when taxes and insurance come due.....

Today I went around my little course 2x with a buddy of mine.i don't think I did all that well, I DID have a couple of good strikes that were nice to watch fly.
After that I headed home and took all the jars of vodka that I've dumped berries into and poured a few ounces of vodka into a spare jar. Then I dumped the rest of the mixture into the blender and blended everything up. I used the few ounces to rinse out the stuff that stuck to the side of the blender. I also did that with the 3 jars that I have sour cherries and vodka in.

The berries are the darker color, mostly black berries in there.

I also work on the mounting for my reloading press. The 3/4" plywood was flexing too much when I started resizing 7 mag brass. So I added some 2x4's to the top, that seems to have taken care of that problem for me.

I've been resizing brass since then. Mostly just a few at a time.
I received my order of powder and projectiles today as well. All I need to wait for is a supply of primers, everyone is sold out of the L rifle magnum primers...
I know I can get away with using L pistol magnum primers, I just don't think I'm in that much of a bind.

jsippy73 Saving money. Some people like to shoot. A box of 7mm Rem Mag is about $50 is you can find it. If you have the spent brass you can cut that down to about $20 or less. And if you didn't see it a couple of days ago..

jsippy73 a dear friend of mine left her favorite rifle in my care as she wasn't sure what else to do with it as she was moving and didn't have a decent way to transport it at the time. I asked her if I could work up a load for it. She said yes. I have probably 2k brass for my 45, and probably another 1k of 223 brass. Not all that much if the end comes...

The builder grouts all the tile and then turns it over to us, "recommending" that I seal it. I'm using Miracle Sealants 511 Impregnator. Spray on, wipe on off excess. No big deal and I like a project. The product name is very manly too.......but not a Binford product. 😂

sdandrea1 Interesting. Signed an early contract to have a house built here and then thought about all these little things as never sure about details not listed. Seems odd to me they don't cover the details. However, details can add significant cost. The acquisition "experts" love to talk about spending 90% on the 10% of the requirement. I know you know they are idiots and lazy. On the 5th "this is the final re-plan" in my time there.

You can ask Rex @Par4QC about the necessity. I don't think Pulte sealed my grout in the house you saw in Fredericksburg, and we were there 10 years. I noticed no degradation. I'm thinking that the most necessary area would be the shower floor tile where water stands......but I'm not a tile guy.

Trickle watering plants around the yard. Changing the oil in the Scion iM. Got no other plans for the day. Pretty sure my son is headed here for a few days. Might do a bit of laundry after the oil change.

sdandrea1 I agree with the seal, always sealed my new tile in both bathrooms in VA house. Did here when I renovated my son's bath to be more disabled friendly. Never a waste of time or money. Just would have expected that but good they recommended because can be hard to see, if they did or not.

Does newly built house have that new car smell? Must be nice.

New paint smell, and yes, were pretty blessed. Lots of more to be done. Deck, patio, irrigation, shed.
