Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Cut, split and stacked wood for about 2 hours, dump run, scoop da poop, filled Archie's pool, smoking Chinese sausage, washing the wife's car, hit a local yard sale and now enjoying a mojito.

I hope everyone had a great father's day. Never underestimate the importance of what you do.

Much needed rainfall around here. After a very wet spring, we had a hot week with no rain, but probably got about an inch to one and a half last night. Good news is that my new back door appears to be well sealed. Wasn't sure if my novice installation was solid, but it appears to be. Work today. Will need to mow the lawn if possible now that it rained. Not much else going on.

We're in a drought. I don't remember the last measurable rainfall and there's none in the forecast. Add upper 90's temps to that this weekend. It's getting crispy here and I've got a large new yard with fresh sod planted. The builder is watering it daily because he's required to get it rooted. I take over on 3 July with no irrigation system. Somewhere during my move, I've got to build a DIY hose/sprinkler combo that's similar to what the builder is using so I don't have to drag the stuff around.

No rain here in KY. It has been mid 90's all week and hasn't rained in 3 weeks. My grass is as dry as a popcorn fart and turning brown. It is 75° at 8 am with 100% humidity. Forecast for the next three days is 99°. 😓

[deleted] get about 9 inches a year here people, we call that dry. The county put out their "monsoon season" warning and offer free sandbags to fill when the monsoons come beginning mid-June. Kinda funny announcement for 9 in avg. Really like it here.

Working from home even though my office person has called in sick for 5 days in a row. Of course it's super busy.

Home care person tells me my dad is refusing to take his meds again. Fingers crossed as every time he does that he winds up in the hospital within a week or 2. Wife skipped her PT appointment for her foot...again. She has skipped half of them. WTF why does no one follow their doctor's orders and then wonder why they have problems?

I don't care I am going to play league tonight even though it feels like it's 100* out.

KCee I was going to move my Juneteenth day to Thursday for a funeral and then work a little and golf tomorrow. BUT…. I catching shit of course about not being home tomorrow. Appears there in one slave left who wasn’t freed….🙄

Worked, dropped off something to go back at the UPS store, gassed up the car at Costco arrived home at went out at 7:30 to water the outside plants. Temp was 97 degrees real feel 104 so not a lot happening.

[deleted] watered the front lawn tonite. Moved the sprinkler 3 times, one hour in each spot. Tomorrow night I’ll do the back yard

I went to Newbury Park barn and worked on a couple of jump standards. They have plastic horse heads that get blown off with a light breeze. I got to figure out how to keep them from falling down and still be removable. The also wanted to be able to rotate them. I came up with this. Now I just have to get back down and fine tune it all. I also have to fix a refrigerator they have. One of the fans has crapped the bed so it's not as cool as it should be...

Should get a date for next week to have our solar installed. Called the building department in the city yesterday to check on the permit application. She told me it was approved on the 11th and emailed the solar company that it was ready.🙄

Called the sales guy and project manager and they were unaware that it was waiting to be picked up. It still amazes me how people these days lack initiative. I wonder how long I’d be waiting had I not called to check on the permit. Guess I’m lucky I only lost a week
