Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Par4QC No tornadoes here, but rain again. Was going to try and go fishing but not now. Daughter wanted muffins and the only type I had readily available ingredients for are cocoa muffins, so they're in the oven now. Will go try to find some tomato cages at Tractor Supply after that. May go to the goat ranch for 9 holes walking after that if the rain lets up.

johnnydoom Lots of rain, more storms coming around 2. No reports of damage yet, so maybe wasn't as bad as they were saying.

Oldest son and his golf buddy are due in around 5. Always here for Memorial Day weekend golf excursions. Not looking good this time. Have time for Sat. a.m., but it'll be super wet. Playing a course with 'Hills' in the name, so might be OK. Sunday looks like a rainout though with more rain coming.

Mowed yard Thursday & needed mowing again yesterday😲! Imagine I'll be baling come Tuesday.

Had to go into the Pentagon today to renew my govt ID. Of course they closed the most used entrance to the place, no obvious reason. Had to the use a smaller, less used entrance just to walk all the way around to the ID Office. The "Rings" of the Pentagon do not always connect, so and that going for me. Today is a DoD Family Day (they have a shitload of these now vs in my days) and yet still busy. Parking lot was full.

Light traffic going in and yet the toll was $8 for 10 miles of I-66. Scam. Keep telling myself they are paying me to do this.

Ate some cocoa muffins. Bought 4 tomato cages at Tractor Supply. Tromped around in the swamp putting them around my last remaining unsupported tomato plants. Realize now that any golf today or tomorrow is basically out of the question unless I want a face splashed with mud on every iron shot. Maybe I'll get to go fishing tomorrow.

Pressure washed the front porch, front of house and driveway yesterday and same for the back patio, back of house and ceiling of patio roof plus all the patio "stuff"...

One of the guys I work with owns a pressure washing business on the side. He always brags about this walk behind unit he’s got that you push.

He did a 20’ x 120’ driveway the other day in 45 minutes. My wife picked up one of the smaller units that plugs into the end of your pressure washer wand. It works ok but not great, its made by black max not harbor freight like the one below.

colej he's probably running 5 gallons a minute flow with 3k psi ... those things work well with decent pressure and good flow.

Leaving for Columbus shortly to attend our granddaughter's high school graduation, then a graduation party with the whole family (two sons driving in from around the state). Staying down there for the whole weekend, and if I'm lucky,
I MIGHT sneak in a round of golf with #1 son. Memorial day we'll be attending another graduation party for my brother's granddaughter also in the Columbus area, then driving home. Hopefully, I'll finally get a little rest from all
the home maintenance chores I've been doing around here!!

Not much happening today. Weather is good, but my right hip is killing me for some reason today. Couldn’t sleep much last night. Took two Aleve pills this morning and put a cold pack on it a few times. Feeling a little better now, but I don’t want to put much strain on it.

Had to lie and say I was working one job to keep my day off. Got the lawn cut, my neighbors lawn cut . The deck amd railings washed. Now getting some float time with some Sprite Zero amd Gunpowder Gin

Stacked wood, swapped out the seasonal clothing, helped the wife set up a new screen house/gazebo and filled Archie's pool. Now I'm having a Goose Island IPA.

Strained the vodka I threw some mixed berries into. The berries were tasty!!! With a kick..
The vodka was very tasty, with a little afterbite.
Just over a cup after getting the berries out.

Such a pretty color!!
