Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Cardiac "class" this morning, couple different bikes and the treadmill. 34 more "classes" to go. Please let me go back to work!!!
Stopped by Mom's for a few then went out to work. Looks like they hired my replacement. 🙄

Worked a couple hours, dropped the car off at my mechanic for the coils whenever he gets to them. Ridin in style though in the SRT. Went in to the pro shop in the afternoon to clean up, stick shit, throw things away. Tomorrow we open.

Had the first dummy call me. Now there are 50+ mph winds mine you. Dunce kid calls from the range…” uh…. The machine is closed how do I get balls…”. “Did the wind close it?” I said ,” we closed the machine because we figured there was no one stupid enough to be hitting balls. Just grab a bucket and go out on the range and get some.”

Another trip to mom's. Replace batteries in her smoke detectors, replaced a heater in the bath and replaced door lock too

3 hours back home and started laying pavers by the back gate.

Correct me if I am wrong here. In Ontario, code is for garage doors to the interior of the house MUST be self closing and open into the house. This is to ensure they cannot be left open to allow fumes to enter the house.

Not aware of any self closing garage door codes. Maybe on new houses? Don't know. He's changing ours because it opens too close to our dryer. By reversing it that alleviates that problem.

Our door entering into the garage never stays open. Only because we have geckos and such that could end up in the house. lol

I'm training a new guy herre at the pro shop and everyone is bringing me drinks. The new guy is amazed. He did tell me he came for the interview with a shirt and tie and our guys sat down and offered him a beer. I told him my interview was in my pajama pants and slippers while also having a Jim Beam and Ginger ale.

Rehab this morning, hung out with Mom for a bit then to Bag O'Nails for lunch. Watched a good Xavier win and settled in for more 🏀.

Got up and was going through my morning routine. Working on coffee and food, when I got a text. Boss man in Newbury Park said the John deere gator quit. Then sent me a pic of the drive belt it spit out. Honestly, it took me more time to walk into the john deere dealership and get the belt, than it did to put it on. After that I hung out there and got to chat with a few of the people who ride there.
After that I went to boss lady's house and got packages inside for her. One of them contained frozen dog food that had to get into the freezer.
When I got home, I drilled 2, 1/2" holes in part of the framework of the steel bed, I'm getting ready to do the FASS fuel pump install. I just need to get more of the 1/2" lock on hose for the tank to pump, and the pump to tank return line. The kit includes 17' of hose to go from the pump to the injection pump. I did have to order 2 feet of PTFE tube for the draw straw inside the tank. The kit did come with one, it was just too short and the don't have anything longer. That showed up today as well.
Tomorrow is 18 holes with a buddy, at the River Course. After that I am going to be working on the fuel pump install. I have Tomorrow and Friday to get it all done, and get my beastie back up and running.

Sitting here doing my normal morning routine drinking coffee, watching news, reading the local paper e-edition. Part of the routine is checking the obits. It seems like everyday there is someone I know who has passed. Two people I knew were listed this morning. Great way to start your day.

Time of year when I have to figure out how to fit everything in. Proshop is and course are open so I work there every afternoon after the day job. Somehow I have to fit the gym in there. Looks like another year of no golf, whatever… clubs are still in the box anyway.

Of course my mother fucked up her email password and I was going to fix that today but now they have Dr. appts. So I have to try to go tomorrow. I wish they didn’t have a computer.

Still can’t drive the Lexus so when get home I’ll leave the truck and walk to the proshop. Tee times are 100% booked. Friend was telling me everything around is booked 100%.. I don’t understand the urgency to play. It’s 60 degrees, the courses are in shit shape, full rates and you’ll be playing golf for the next 8 months🙄

I fix my parents email and other stuff every week. They have a book of passwords, but then can't find that so now I have a copy of the book. My dad's Parkinsons is getting so bad he can't really use his tablet anymore, but my mom makes up for it with her iPad.

You gotta play some golf though. I think there is a Member/Guest at my place mid-June. Come down. 1st hole is only about 290 yards so you can start off with an Eagle 😁

I just read an article that reported our only public course in our city and city owned was $359k in the red last year. I wonder why. Doesn't open on Mon. until noon. No tee times on Tues, Weds, Thurs until noon due to Ladies, Men's and Seniors leagues and the course looks empty if you drive by. So it gets packed on Fri, Sat, Sun and tough to get a tee time. Expensive and a very old and short course. GRRRRRR. 🤬

Par4QC Even when I played I never rushed to get out. Course is too slow and too crappy. I’d go to the range instead for a few weeks. When idiots slowed down and the grass started to grow, they cut the greens, that’s when I’d go out. Oh, and I’d still shoot lower than the people that played that 7 hour round on day one😂

Woman called last night and says I see the tee sheet is full. I said yup. She said, could I go out at 6 pm? I said, we’ll yeah but it’s dark in a half hour and you’re paying $25.
