KCee Back in the office today. Spent the weekend at the hospital with my dad after he fell again. Trying to line up a place for him to go after he gets out. His vitals were good last night, but he didn't always know what was going on.
Ugh… sounds all too familiar. My MIL, starts with her own condo, then she falls and can’t get up, trip to the hospital, then a stint in rehab, then back to her place. Half the time it me and Nick at 2 am at her place getting her up off the ground, or she can’t get out of her chair….
Then we sell the condo. Move her to assisted living but they have a “no lift” policy… fuckin thanks a ton for $9000 and “no lifting”. I asked,” how about pulling? Do have a no pull clause as well or if she can’t get out of her chair can you grab her arms and pull??”
Sorry to say I’ve just been down that road. I feel bad for your father and you guys. I hope the fall was just a “one off” thing
