Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Typhoon good to hear the generator fired up and you no longer have to rely on the pups to stay warm. Safe travels on the road!

Finished some parts I needed for the last pullers in history. Totally cleaned up the garage and got the car put away. Sold the truck last week so now no vehicles to clean off after the shit hits the fan tonight-Wed..
Ran out, paid bills, got supplies.
I am good-to-go.

Typhoon I never use it except when something like this comes around. The past 7 yrs. I had 2 vehicles, so at least 1 had to be out. I hate cleaning a vehicle more than I do shoveling the whole driveway.

btw.....I'm not doing either this time! 😅 It will melt. Eventually. Next month.

Had a gummy yesterday afternoon. Wife did too. I could feel it. She had half and said she didn’t feel it. I noticed she was better. So she tells Nick that it did nothing and he says,” you sure? You took down all that Christmas stuff without picking a fight and you just made a frosted cinnamon roll coffee cake in the middle of the day to eat.”😂😂😂

I’ll probably have one in a while again.

On our way back to VA to finish packing out that house. Closing on 17 Jan. Stuff goes into storage on the 16th. We're moving a few items from the FL house to the VA storage unit that we want to keep, so we're driving a 16' Budget 10 wheeled box truck up I95 in wind and rain. Day 2. Leaving Hardeeville SC in a few minutes. Wish me luck.

Weather here is pretty "un-Florida-like" so far. Cool yesterday and VERY windy and heavy rains expected today.

Worst drive ever. The rental box truck was like a sailboat in a hurricane. Raining sideways, Semi's splashing rain-spray in my view, crazy assholes weaving through traffic like it's a sunny day. I'm exhausted just from holding the steering wheel and focusing. Good night.

Flu's still hanging on, cough and congestion. Hopefully it's about done. Talked to the surgeon yesterday and they're gonna wait and check back Friday. Want my lungs clear.

We're supposed to get a bad storm this afternoon here on the west coast of Florida. They cancelled schools in the surrounding areas. Rain, high winds and tornado warnings expected.

Could lose power, but this isn't a bad time of the year to lose power. Normally we lose power in hurricane season when it's 90 degrees and humid. Wife is closing here office at noon and sending everyone home.

Yeah, talked to my sister on the Cape. Her husband is down here over in Sebastian and is supposed to fly out of Vero Beach tonight. I think he’s going to try and get it rescheduled.

Getting caught up at work some. Mostly sitting on traffic🙄. 2 hours to me first store in the middle of nowhere but in the same parking lot as a store another guy has🙄. In the store 30 minutes amd now it’s 45 minutes to me next one. Sucks.

KCee yup, awful traffic through Rhode Island. I went from my house down through Rhode Island for one store. Back up to Mass and into Hudson NH just because tomorrow this Hudson store is out of the way of the other NH stores and we have morning time constraints on orders

Discovered the seller of my house in Las Cruces, did not pay the property taxes for 2023. Didn't even have his mortgage escrow for taxes (didn't know any mortgage company allowed it). Las Cruces notifies owners in Oct with half due in Dec then May the following year. Of course not paid in Dec '23, so penalties and interest accruing. Title Company told me the seller was 100% disabled vet, NM exempted them from property tax, when I asked during closing since no prorated taxes.

Nice surprise. The seller says not their fault, not paying. Additional penalties/interest increase 10 Jan. Got that going for me. Paid the taxes today, Title Co said they will pay the seller's share. Hard to trust.

Additionally, had a toothache for 3 days, and found out a 20-yr crown relocated and caused an infection between 2 molars. Today had 2 root canals, "deep cleaning", then temp crowns, and get 2 perm crowns next week.

Just money. Additionally, failed to note, no snow here. So some good.

If it’s bacterial can they give you an antibiotic?

We survived yesterday’s storm. Just lost a few shingles.

Taking one of our cats to the Vet today. 6 month checkup on his eye. He has a cataract in one eye and gets drops daily so he doesn’t have to lose the eye.

His eyesight has improved, from being blind in that eye to now having some vision. He hates going to the Vet. Cries like a banshee all the way there. Only time he ever makes a sound. Poor little guy.😸 He’ll get extra treats when we get home.
