Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Our neighbors across the street put their tree up mid October.😯 All I do is help put the tree up and help with the lights and garland. Then I sit back and watch her decorate it. 😺

It’s 6 weeks till Christmas. The time will fly by.

Woke up this morning to watch the Patriots game, on at 9:30 am in Germany. The offense is pitiful. Having been spoiled all those years it is such a drastic difference.
After the loss, went outside to “batten down the hatches “ in preparation for winter. Blew leaves, mowed the lawn, put away hoses, cover up the AC, then moved things into the garage and cleared out the snow blower.
Added lead tape to a driver shaft, threw out some old audio visual items.
Cold and crisp day, invigorating and productive.

Went to church this morning. Lunch with the family at Carabba's (Italian chain restaurant) followed by a walk to the bookstore. The boy and I put out two raggedy broke down leather recliners (28 years old with broken mechanisms) out on the curb. Going to buy a new one soon. Also going to replace the old sofa sometime before Christmas. One of my camellias shrubs (should have white flowers) was delivered yesterday, so I planted it out in the back yard. Should be getting 4 more (two red, two pink) delivered this week and hopefully will have those in the ground before Thanksgiving. Back to church in an hour and then out with some friends to eat again after that.

Today was church, had to pull my clubs as one of my 3 kid brothers rode with me. After that, I hung out with family, I got to see all 3 of my brothers today, and their families. One drove up from Sherman Oaks, the other drove from Medford, Oregon. The only person missing was my SIL from Medford, she was with her sisters for something...

Typhoon I'm just over 6 foot myself,
From the left, back row, my brother James, (he is #2), Matt, (the baby), myself (the guinea pig), then Chris (#3,he is holding his daughter Adea(sp?).

Took today and tomorrow off. My youngest grandson and myself are heading north, to Hiram, for Payton's 1st college basketball game vs. powerhouse Fredonia St. Haven't said much as I'm not sure what to expect. She keeps me in the dark, mostly. I know it's not much, but she's started and played good minutes in their 2 scrimmages. Says she's "the only freshman that's started and played in every quarter". 🏀

Burning off some time off over the next 2 weeks.....in the new ownership we accrue time off and I am already maxed out on what I was able to save so use it or lose it...working on the truck, working on guitars, made an eye appointment and I'm going to try to get the furnace cleaned, take down the vinyl gutters, wear the boy out every day....just odds and ends.

The last of the leaves are coming down quick. Our grass that stayed brown most of the summer due to lack of rain is green and still growing due to recent rain so I mowed/mulched. Looks like about two more mowings will do it. The leaf volume seems smaller than previous years and turning and falling quicker than normal. I guess either due to the summer drought or a prediction of a real sucko winter. In the 60's this week and last so I have been trying to get the last of season shit done. A light trimming of some shrubs will take care of it pending SWMBO's approval. 😛
