Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Today I went to the golf course and raked bunkers, then I volunteered to help sharpen the reels on one of the mowers. 5 reels, i did most of the heavy lifting, not the oldest, nor the youngest,
just strog back and wanted to see it done. An interesting learning experience. We sharpened all 5 reels, all 5 bed knives and got it all back together and running fine.

backinit Damn… hope they can treat it without surgery. I always thought old people got gallstones, not 17 year olds.

sdandrea1 Just finished washing/vacuuming the Highlander. Headed to our local minor league baseball team's game. FredNats (Fredericksburg Nationals).

Nats lost but our hosts have season tix to the club section, so we had unlimited buffet and soft drinks indoors during the game with a view of the whole park/game. After we stuffed ourselves we went to their outside seats and enjoyed the rest of a pretty good game. Nice day!

KCee Graduation is next Saturday. College orientation 6/10, move onto campus in August. I'm not diggin' this, at all.

LBlack14 big sttel cabinet with multiple adjustments that spun the reels and slid a spinning grinding stone across. And another grinder with a powered transverse feed and micro adjustments for the bed knives. I'll see about getting more info and a couple of pics if you would like...

I left work early to visit the kid at the hospital for an hour or so. Came home and took the big boy in for his annual. Official weight at 3 y.o. is 97.1 lbs. I came home and had my last meal. The kid went into surgery at 2:30 pm, but she wasn't quite where they wanted her to be so she was kept another night.

I read this that she will not be having a 14" scar such as I now sport.

I got into that about 25 years ago. It’s all in how you setup that reel. If it’s not set perfect the grind will not be good.

colej honestly, that's the way it is with everything that cust with a shearing action. If the grind isn't good. The results will be crap... gotta set it up right to get the grind right.

Par4QC laparoscoptic surgery just as I had almost 18 years ago. I had complications which required additional procedures and a longer stay. She is at home as of this morning doing well.

Rickochet I would just stay on the toilet after awhile. I’d take the laptop with me so I could post. I’d turn around on the seat and use the toilet tank as a desk.

I remember I had the wet wipes on the window sill of a draft window in January. It was like wiping my ass with a snow cone.

-9 at my weekly scramble got us 4th (no $). SWMBO and I are taking the kayaks out on our neighborhood lake. Awards ceremony tonight for our 13 YO grandson.

Here's the one for the reels. Currently sharpening a reel for the triplex that is set up for mowing collars.

And here's the one for the bed knives.
The shop is set up to only run one at a time, as they don't seem to want to set up another outlet and keep both plugged in...
