Today, I went and played golf, had to get some bad shit out of my head... My little course has gone to a modified course. We get to play 1-5 + 9 and go around 2x. 12 holes for the price of 9. I got hooked up with a pair who have been playing for a few months and their friend who has never played a day in her life. It was a good time, especially after the 2nd hole when I had a head change...
Yesterday I kinda played hooky, and did the bare minimum. I told the boss that her trailer needs brakes really soon. Shoes and drums, are both needed. My research into both come up with backing plate assemblies for about $700.00 each, and drums for about $900.00 each. I suggested that we look into a disc brake conversion. Her trailer is already hydraulic brakes, so disc isn't too much more work. Conversion kits are any where from $800.00 1,500.00 per axle. She had me call a place by her new barn and get prices on shoes and drums, they gave me a price of $3,200.00 for just shoes installed. They are have to call around and get prices and availability of the drums... I'm thinking that shit is going to get more expensive than I quoted her...
