The energy transfer channel (which honestly has been around for quite some time in various formats) was designed in the neuro TOUR FW’s to allow the maraging steel face to flex and rebound faster, particularly for low on the face/off center hits, which are common with fairway woods. I could only design the depth of the channel to be so deep without it negatively impacting some of the other features. I went for the best as I could get with everything I designed into the heads. 😊
