Last time my son played rec league baseball, probably around 2017, I was shagging balls for the team in the outfield during practice and found out I could no longer throw a ball hard enough to get from the warning track to the infield. I could still run, catch, and hit, but would have to play the infield or have an infielder positioned in the shallow outfield for relay throws if I were to try and play. Softball might be a little better if the field is smaller, but throwing was by far the most deteriorated skill I had.
