Spuzz I have a 3 & 4 irons. On the range, or at the barn I can get them to dance and sing. On the course, they must have a serious case of stage fright because at that point they are nowhere near what they can do on the range or barn....
Honestly, I started pulling my 7 iron out instead and I don't get into half the trouble I have with the 3 or 4. Made my score drop a few strokes.
As far as the 3 wood, I am going to keep working on it, just not playing it. When I play a round it stays in the truck. The 60Β° I should be able to play with at the barn and become comfortable with it. So far my best club is my sand wedge, probably because I would take that out and hit balls in the pasture with it. I was getting pretty good with it, I was able to hit the kiddy pool almost 70% of the time. I know, if I work on it more I could get that up to 85%.
