Moe Update:
Well I have had a quite adventurous couple months.
Just change the name of this thread to "Getting Older Sucks!
I am still continuing my Deep Wound therapy on my Toe. But this new doc is doing fantastic compared to the other hacks I have tried. Pacemaker that was inserted in early march is trouble free. Doc sees and feels a mass/obstruction. Calls for a MRI.... It was time for all of our fave...a colonoscopy... OK, I am lying. We were supposed to go TX and see my son and his house the day of the colonoscopy.
It was not pretty. They found and cut out 30 polyps, also 2 Huge masses (docs Words) 5 days later, I get this Power Port thingy stuck into my chest cavity. it is about the size of a Hockey Puck and has an attached tube that is tied to my Main neck artery for quick insertion of the Chemo drugs that I will most likely need that for the Chemo they are anticipating giving me. I have had open heart surgery in the past, that hurt, but the colo and port insertion. new levels of pain. Miserable is my new condition. I have had 1 appt with an oncologist. 2 more coming up in week. Including a surgeon. I have seen enough OR rooms and have had enough scans to glow in the dark.
Thanks for reading about my misadventures. I am ok, no determination of the stage of Cancer yet. Imagine I will know more in about 10 days.
