Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

sdandrea1 I feel bruised today. I should have put a pad or something on the hardwood floor. As heavy as I've gotten my knees and elbows aren't padded.

Taking it easy today. Landry, cleaning and some club work for friends. Building a GW for a buddy that plowed while I was in FL and regripping a set for a friend that helps with drywall when i need it.

Supposed to try a new course near the shore tomorrow but it doesn't look good. Lots of courses closed today and it's supposed to rain through to tomorrow afternoon.

Visited with two different cousins-in-law. Ate a pleasant supper with the family at Dead Lobster, which does not usually impress me, but was very good tonight. Tomorrow we finish the journey home. Can’t wait to spend time with Wumbo.

No! My SIL has made the road trip between Talkeetna and Washington (and Oregon) too many times. When they need another vehicle or trailer for their business, it's cheaper to fly to Spokane or Seattle or Portland and drive it back. Everything is insanely expensive up there.

Memorial Day Weekend at PA Pothole Lake is officially underway. Chad from Scranton already launched the pontoon, Randy brought 47 packs of hot dogs “just in case,” and Deb brought a flamingo float like this crater wasn’t formed by 19 winters, 400 salt trucks, and pure PennDOT despair.
Rain sideways, grill smoking under a tent held together with bungee cords, people fishing near a sinkhole the size of Lake Wallenpaupack and somehow every single Pennsylvanian still saying “honestly not a bad turnout.” The roads may be collapsing into the earth itself, but the cookout WILL continue.

Drove to Bowling Green (12 miles) for a Market Place sale. Flipped a nice set of ZING2's (yes, other people like them).

Regripped some of my Acer XDS fw's. Built an 11 wood for a previous 9w, 13w customer.

Installed Graphite shafts in my new Cleveland CBX wedges, 52 & 56.

I decided that today was the day I would try to start up my power washer. It's always been the hardest thing of all my equipment to start. Plus, last winter I did NOT run it out of gas or put any additive to the gas like I do my mowers, etc. So, I go out to the garage, get my can of starting fluid, only to find that the squirting nosel is broken. So, I take a screw driver and use that to press down enough to spray out some fluid into the air filter.

I put it all back together, add a little fresh gas to the tank, and the thing started on the FIRST pull.......!!! Unbelievable !!!!!

Had people over this past weekend to enjoy the holiday weekend by the pool / cookout etc...

Was in a rush getting it ready. It needed some salt. Put some salt in and I normally brush the salt around to get rid of any clumps.

Didn’t do that this time being in a hurry. The next day there were ~ 5 iron stain spots. Read up on it and it said to put some Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) tablets in a tube sock.

Crush the tablets with a hammer. Put the sock on the end of a pole and leave it on each spot for ~ a minute or so. Then brush it.

Poof all gone. Aren’t the intergoogles great. 👍

Yeah, we've had it since we got the pool built in 2005. The only chemicals I use are salt, muriatic acid and a metal control / sequestrant agent. Salt pools have the salinity of a tear from your eye. Skin doesn't feel salty. Never any smell of chlorine or discolored of hair or bathing suits. lol

Taking the wife for shots in her back at 11. Had to cancel my dermatologist appt to take her. Maybe hit a couple accounts while they stick her. Too much work this week. 4 TM fitting days, 3 pro shop nights plus the full time day job I’ll have to half ass the next couple weeks. Then we go away for a few days. Looks like no golf for a few weeks or so.

Sneakylong wow, that’s great! Yeah we liked all the benefits from it too like no smell, no bleaching…. BUT… we have an above ground pool. So after the first pool died the pool guy suggested salt for the new pool. Well thanks🙄🙄, the pool rusted out in 3-4 years. At the time, there were no resin pools. We would have to add salt like you did at the beginning of the year and sometimes part way through. We went back to chlorine with our third pool and it’s good. For us, less maintenance than salt. I had to had a gallon of shock and 15 lbs of Alkaline increaser at opening. And I bet other than an occasional gallon of shock, that’s it.

Golf rained out this AM......5TH day in a row. Finally stopped at noon. Mowed the lawn as it was 8" tall. Looks like it's not going to rain again until tomorrow so I got a 6:30 tee time this evening. I'll get around before sunset.
