I'll probably walk over to the golf course today and play a bit.
Last night I was hanging out with friends who wanted me to bring my telescope out to their place. Even half a moon is really bright. That said, I introduced them and one of their daughters to telescopes, and closer views of the sky. I showed them the Andromeda galaxy, the owl cluster, the Orion nebula, what i believe is the whirlpool galaxy, and a few others things.
I was able to take this pic while looking at the moon. Before I started pushing magnification to see how close of a view I could get.
