Working from home today. So far behind on quoting I may never catch up. One of those times where I have to do a ton of small quotes.....that's when I know the economy isn't that great. Could be worse as there could be hardly any RFP/RFQs.
Big dinner tonight at Max Oyster for last year's Birdie Pool. A handful of guys do this every year where you try to birdie as many different holes at our home course as possible. The winner gets a free dinner (spoiler: that was me!), picks the place and then the % of payment gets higher the worse your finish.
They usually go to a high end steakhouse....and I usually don't join in this bet. I play no worse than the rest, but I tend to play steadier with fewer birdies and I play fewer rounds than most of them. I agreed as someone dropped out due to health issues. I am paying for the Uber ride to be safe and to contribute something.
