ode I am between getting something 10+ years old that is dependable (Camry, Accord, or even something smaller) and using it til retirement or splurging now.
I wouldn't buy a new vehicle even if I won the Powerball. Very seriously.
Had cash in hand a few years ago and looking at new cars, Toyota to be exact. They put us inside one, Camry, and it was something. But $26K and they would not budge $100, even with cash.
Left.
Drove through another lot and saw an older Camry, 2007. Took me a couple days, but they came down to my offer, $5500. Best deal ever. Rolled over to 100K when we pulled in the drive. Has 120K today, 6-7 years later. New tires, oil changes and that's it. (had new tires on but I did not like them at all, when we bought the car)
I trust you'll do the smart thing, if possible.👍Esp. when that same new Camry is now around double our quote!
And NO....I don't think I'd sell ya mine for $6K today.😲
