Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

candukid Just kidding. No need. 240K miles is a lot, although cars do better now. Use to consider 100K miles as dead. My 2007 Prius has 198K and looks good and runs well. My 2015 Highlander is looking relatively new like at 120K miles. Now in a dry desert region, can last some time since hardly any weather here. Plus, finally have a 2.5 car garage.

candukid That's a lot on an Escape. I know 2 people that have newer ones and their turbos went on them…. A known issue now.

It almost seems like turbos should be designed to be a modular replacement at this point. Between the people demanding power and the government demanding gas mileage, it should be a technology that is either almost perfected by now or made modular as a regular maintenance exchange. Hopefully the grid will be strong enough and batteries will become economical enough to support hybrid/full electric soon and the turbo will be gone.

Will be pretty slow at work for a few days with the Shut Down. No impact to me. Program is fouled up so can't hurt with people away.

Jess's regional golf tournament. Team placed
4th, did not advance to state, but they (Stafford HS) beat their nemesis. Jesse shot a solid 83.

His "little" brother Corey's football game ended 16 to zip with his team on top.

Another day off of work, but working anyway. Digging holes and planting more little trees. Two dwarf weeping Japanese maples, and two upright Japanese maples. Got two in the ground so far, getting ready to start on number 3. After they're in, not sure what I'll do. Wife is off at some Christmas merchants show at the local convention center with one of her friends.

Worked some, went to the gym… knee is still bad, can’t squat. Did some more work, hit a few at the range, went and bought fertilizer. Got home and went for a walk with Spike.

Tonite Nick”s tour with “Jasta” goes through Worcester at the Palladium so we’re going.

Walked 9 holes on a gorgeous day by myself. Haven’t done that much this year. Enjoyed it immensely.

Ate breakfast at the Neighborhood Grill with my wife. She’s about to join friends to go watch their sons play baseball at Ole Miss all day. I’m going to clear out some more old bushes in the yard, watch a horror movie of some sort, and then settle in for college football later in the afternoon.

Parents condo to put some grippy things we had on their rugs. Home now to take the poop filter apart and clean and put away. Tonite another Jasta show in Hampton Beach NH. Beautiful day to sit out with a few beers somewhere and relax. That is always my plan but never my life. No days off

I'm going to be hitting the range today. We'll one i can hit my driver on. I need to work on that as im driving to Temecula on Monday and im supposed to be playing golf with boss lady's kid.
I'd like to get my driver working as best as possible for that. At least try to cut down on the powe fades....

Another trip to mom's. 10/03 would have been my brother's 62 Birthday. Almost 40 years have passed.
