johnnydoom I hated the commute in northern VA, it became expensive and too restrictive to dodge the tolls. Parking was reduced to make room for more bike lanes. I like going in, always better but after time I just thought about how to get home in least pain. I now do TEAM mtgs with 90+ people instead of conf rooms where the Govt can talk among us without the industry listening in.
Overall, people going into work does improve the overall economy and local small businesses. I end up being available longer working from home but there are typically house distractions. I do see more meetings with kids and pets nearly participating. People announcing, they have to go to do personal stuff, as if nothing is wrong.
