Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Boring day planned. Back to the farmers market to (hopefully) get more good tomatoes. Then to Kroger to stock up on needed groceries. Then to Tractor Supply to buy a garden hose and some weed killer. Then back home to putter around in the garden, perhaps smoke something for tonight's supper, and watch TV. Currently making some steel cut oats for breakfast and trolling my favorite website.

jsippy73 Home from Cleveland Clinic where I learned that no treatment can be considered until after yet another MRI and Biopsy. Almost died 15 years ago from a botched biopsy followed by blood infection and incompetent follow up care.

There's a new (not that new) biopsy where they go through your perineum (sp) which eliminates the chance of infection because they're not going through your rectum. It also gives them better access to the whole prostate. A lot of Dr.s just don't want to learn a new procedure.
My PSA has been on a steady climb and got to 6.7, dropped back to 4.7. My urologist doesn't seem too concerned but I'd hate to find out we waited too long. I go back in a few months and if it's still high a biopsy is in order. I'm hoping he does the perineum one. I've had an MRI that looked good and a urine test that was negative.

That's what I am getting. An MRI is not
a good test to see if it has spread. A PET-CT is the gold standard. It will glow like fire anywhere in your body that prostate cancer has spread.

Woke up to no electricity......we figured out that's happened only 3-4 times since we've lived in our current house (34 years!). Found out it was fairly widespread, so we decided to drive somewhere to get our coffee fix. Wound up
at a doughnut shop (!!), so couldn't resist a couple of those to go with the coffee!!!

By the time we got back home power was back on again.....move along folks.....nothing more to see here!!

Was in the grocery store yesterday and walked past those big, fat, disgusting iced, cake donuts. Sitting right beside the iced, cream filled ones.

Have been trying to disprove the fact they are no good for a body, last night and early this a.m.. Only time will tell.😆

fatshot Also glad the power came back on quickly. With the weather we've had here, I'm sure it's hit you or is going to. Not so much for me, but A/C is a must for most people in this weather. Yesterday was particularly nasty even at 82*. I prefer the mid/upper 90s myself....less humid.

Actually, the weather here today is just good old summer weather. It was about 80 at noon, and is probably 85 now, but a nice breeze coming in off Lake Erie. Earlier in the week, it WAS a bitch.....well over 90 and humid. I rode one round....probably should have the other.

Cut and trimmed the yard, took down 2 20' Sycamores, a Catawba and some honeysuckle, before I about fell out, from the heat/humidity. All that before 1pm. I'm done for the weekend.

Tomorrow night we are going to the Las Vegas Aviators vs Albuquerque Isotopes AAA baseball game.

azgreg I went to that ballpark last year, but it was for a Christmas light display - a pretty incredible one at that. It was the day after Thanksgiving and quite chilly. Looks like a nice area for a ballgame out there on the west side.

The Wife and I started a summer road trip today. Tonight was Santa Fe, NM. Saw a great band at a good BBQ restaurant. Great night. Tomorrow we are off to a hot springs resortin the middle of nowhere New Mexico. After that, we head to the Rockies Mountains for 5 days. Golf, hiking, kayaking and a concert at Red Rocks on the 4th of July. Nice to get away from the Arizona heat.
