Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Work. Hearing about storm damage from last night around the area, but downed trees and power lines and no news about loss of life or serious damage to buildings. Sad to hear Scott Adams, the Dilbert comic creator, say he's dying of cancer that has metastasized.

Working tonite now. Other guys kid was sick. I’m at my dermatology appt and the wife is working at home while waiting for the plumber. Downstairs toilet leaked some, was also making gurgling noises from air. Today I noticed when you flush upstairs the toilet downstairs gurgles/burps.

I had a great evening doing cicada dodge. We have been expecting the 17 or 19 year herd of these when the weather warmed up. I have been seeing some hulks on the trees then started seeing them flying a few days ago. Today the entire wing has apparently launched and there are thousands of these nasty bastages everywhere. I guess in a few days the dirt bags will start chirping or whatever they do. The last time they were here you couldn't sit out do to the noise. Fortunately this time around I can turn my hearing aids down. 😜

Par4QC Clogged roof vent??

A few years ago they went after the clog through the roof vent. Access to the main drain is in a wall🙄. The drain guys come tomorrow. Nicks girlfriend took a shower and when I came home from the pro shop tonite there was water downstairs that came up from the floor under the toilet.

The plumber said the gurgling sound is a warning. So no showers tomorrow. Limited faucet use

Don't break into that wall! Have them pull the toilet....it has to be done anyway to reseal it....then they can auger through that line.

Par4QC So the guy sent a camera down the pipe and there is a break in the pipe… it looks like. There is maybe a rock …. I’ve attached a pic. Anyway, he came in the house and found where it is under the house and I marked the spot. I have to call the plumber back to see about them cutting through the concrete…

What sucks too is it’s carpeted. Nick has all his amps in there etc… that will have to be moved because of the dust

Oh, they not going on the wall. They were out here a few years ago and went through the roof vent. So the water that comes from the base of the toilet downstairs is from the shower upstairs.

I had a great start today with a power outage. We were having mild storms this morning and I went down to my desk with a mug of coffee and sandwich. I had been in my chair for 30 secs. when it went dark with no warning. Fuck, just went thru this last week. I check email on my phone and had a message from the power company that an outage had occurred at my addy and they were aware of it. They installed new smart meters last year and it reports outages, usage and lots of stuff. I also went to their website and they show a current detailed outage map. Pretty cool. So I sat here in the dark for two hours with some LED lamps playing on my phone.

Typhoon Apparently the Apple Phone - PC photo issue still exists. I couldn't see the photo on my PC's Google Chrome, but I see it on my iPhone. Sorry to hear that you have to go through so much trouble for a pluming issue.

Meet a visiting friend from Florida for a Frisbee session and then lunch.
Work in the proshop

Today’s plan this morning:
Set up a ladder for the 11 am drain guy
Work but be home by 11…. Guy calls, will be there around 9:30. Cut day short. Head home
Wait for him to finish
Listen to a 90 minute synopsis of Nick at Metalfest.
Fertilize the lawn
Put timer on pool… told her not to touch it, now I have to wait to see if it shuts off later because she fucked with it.
No golf….

Took my mum in for a full hysterectomy this morning. She’s 84. Be in for a couple of days recovery. She has an inter uterine tumour. Doc is taking the whole plumbing system out. So there should be no chemo or anything since it is totally removed.
Sitting at the donut shop drinking coffee waiting for her to get to recovery.

Just got to The Pine Hills for my scramble. Fuckin freezing out. 48 degrees and cloudy. This will suck. Every one of these I play in the weather is awful. Gotta go throw my 80 layers in my bag….

All day affair too with lunch and dinner. 2 hour ride down and back. Might be skipping dinner. Throw a couple rolls in my pocket for the ride home. Plastic still on my irons too.
