My Thursday golfing buddy bailed on me, but I was going to go out to the course, sneak off the back nine and play a nine hole "practice round" (don't keep score, hit extra chips and pitches on several greens, camp out on a green and just putt once in a while, etc). Then a half hour before I'm set to leave the local TV weather guy says "Showers should start moving through our area in the next half hour..." Shit!
So, a half hour comes and goes and still no rain, but I'd already decided on what chores I could get done before the rain really does start (around noon). As I'm outside getting stuff done, the SUN comes out, it's 70 degrees, would've
been a perfect morning to be on the course like I planned!!! Outside chores are mostly done now, and I'm sitting
here looking at rain clouds starting to form, just as originally announced. C'mon weather guy.....get it RIGHT!! 🤬
