Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Had my first outdoor fitting day yesterday at Salem Country club. Played there back in high school. They’ve hosted IS Senior Opens and a Womens US Open.

Today I have one at the TPC Boston where they play the BMW Championship in the Fed Ex Cup playoffs.

Funny to be at country clubs where nobody wears their hat backwards or has a 24 pack of Bud Light Cans in the cart basket.

Sounds more like Plurisy which is inflamation of the Lung lining. Feels like you have rib trouble. Normally happens to smokers and when you have a slight cold. Every sneeze will bring you to your knees. Had it twice years ago. Worse than broken ribs as far as pain.
Get rid of the cold and it will go away.

My son gave me a Blink doorbell cam for Christmas and I will finally be able to install it today. I will also have to install a wired doorbell too (demanded by the War Dept.). Fortunately I left the old wiring intact after switching to wireless years ago. I got tired of changing batteries in the wireless door bells. The Blink works wireless or with a wired system.

Today is anniversary #20 for me and Mrs. MattyV. Not quite sure where all those years went. Celebrating with a very nice dinner out tomorrow night since she has Friday off from work.

Killing Time at the course...

Will be assembling my new Weber gas grill today. It's a New Genesis all stainless steel model. It has the Weber i-Grill
set up built into it so you just plug in the probes in the front of the side shelf and you know what's going on with your dinner, temp. wise. I've been using a similar set up for the past few years but have to haul the unit out to the grill every time I want to use it. It also has a side burner. Another new thing for me is that it has lights built in that light up the grill surface and the side tables when you open the lid. It's activated by pushing a button in the end of the lid handle. It also has lights in the control knobs so you can see what your settings are if you grill after dark. This grill also has a side "garage" that you can put other grill options in. I've had a griddle for a Weber grill for a few years but seldom used it. Now I'll have it handy in the "Garage." I had been looking for this grill for over a month and could find one in black but I wanted stainless steel. If I found a Weber grill that was stainless outside it had porcelain grates and I wanted stainless steel grates. BBQ Guys told me that Weber didn't make that combination. I kept looking and finally found one at Wayfair.com. Even better was that it was priced between $75 and $150 less than the black one at BBQ Guys. They only had four of these and I quickly ordered one. It arrived a couple days ago and today is assembly day.

It should work pretty much the same as the one I own now. The current grill is also a Weber Genesis and we love it. It's just getting to where it doesn't look as good as it did and needs a few new replacement pieces. I checked and found that it would cost a couple hundred dollars to buy the new pieces. I decided to put that money into a new grill instead. It's just a bonus that the new grill has a few new items with it (lights, etc).

My partner and I won our match today 14.5 to 12.5. I got hot on #13 and finished 13 thru 18 in 1 under par to HALVE my singles match. My partner won 6 to 3. Over two days of golf and4 formats totalling 180 possible points, we (blue) won 90.5 to 89.5

It was close!!!!

Looks like the water pump has started leaking on me... Currently draining the coolant so I can replace it.

Typhoon had to order it yesterday and paid for it. It was about $100.00. The warehouse that the parts store normally orders from had 17 yesterday. Not sure how much the price has gone up, as I don't remember what it was the last time I replaced it.

colej yes, 2 bolt. I believe that it is the same from the 5.9 to the 6.7. pretty sure that the 6.7 is just a bored out 5.9... only with more electronic crap on it...

Well at least it’s fairly easy to replace. Try putting a water pump on a 6.7 powerstroke 😂 it’s a all day long job. 🤮

colej screw that... I already do my best to not turn wrenches. This Dodge is almost the only thing I work on anymore. I refuse to work on anything newer than this truck, although I have poked around the boss's Yukon to replace the washer bottle after a rodent chewed on it.

Bravopilot well, I didn't grow up with a lot of money in the family. As a kid I learned to fix stuff, my dad was an electrical engineer for Martin Marrietta so I got to learn some electrical repair. He also taught mechanical repairs on small engines and older cars. I'm happier knowing how to keep the truck on the road. The computer side makes it difficult for me, I don't have the proper equipment for that.
