Typhoon sometimes I’m not sure equipment matters much.
I want to disagree, but sometimes I wonder. I'll play clubs that are the complete opposite of mine and play better. Maybe I focus more or maybe it's a relief to have an excuse for poor play? I dunno.
I was traveling for work years ago and we got to play golf a few times which almost never happened. We rented clubs and my coworker gets this newer set while I get a set of tiny blades and the tiniest metalwoods I've ever seen. They look like some sort of training aid. I did struggle with the irons a bit, but I absolutely crushed those tiny headed woods. We were laughing at how well I hit them, but inside I was thinking WTF?!
