Bits'n'pieces ... dog walking, tidying conservatory (new furniture due tomorrow ...), getting a spare car ready for a trip to the garage for its annual inspection. Ended up having to get it towed, it's sat so long the brakes had seized. Suspect it'll cost a bit of money to get thru the inspect - shocks were bad before we laid it up - on top of a new battery (I think the active subwoofer drains the battery unless you hit the kill switch, and there wasn't one fitted inside the car, so we've taken it out; was too loud for the size of the car in any case).
Mother improving, saw her the other day, and my sister's have a Christmas surprise for her - matinee performance of Les Mis on Monday, providing her personal physician (her grandson) clears her for car travel. Looking good ...
