Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Quiet few days - dog walks, some general housework, football, 12 hole golf round - exactly as I'd pictured retirement. Actually being winter and less golf I'm getting a bit twitchy, so I've got a meeting with a foodbank on Wednesday next week. They need a van driver for a couple mornings work each week, will see what's involved when I meet them ...

I seriously felt like I walked in with a bomb strapped to my chest. Everyone vanished. It took me almost an hour to get the shots with an appointment. Our wives sound suspiciously similar (except mine won't get a job) so maybe we are living parallel lives......except I didn't get the ability to hit 350 yard drives or even 250 half the time.

Nice day actually. Got to the range at 7:20 to pick. Maybe last pick of the year. Wanted to get the balls up before any snow. Last year they didn’t and we were screwed. Picked with 2 shag bags for 4 hours. Had a bite to eat, had a few beers and went to indoor golf to work.

HS Band is marching in the Christmas parade today. Rain is on the radar, but it looks like the closest line will pass through before the Parade starts 🤞. Daughter will be playing a bass drum. I’ve lived in town for 26 years and this will be my first time attending the Christmas parade - hope Santa doesn’t hold a grudge.

Jon Bon Jovi’s uncle (his fathers brother) lives next door to one of my golf buddies (at Fox Hollow). He was in town to celebrate his fathers birthday. Jon often plays Fox Hollow when he’s in town.

His uncle tells the story of how Jon flew his father and uncle out to Vegas to play golf and they all got a lesson from Tiger Woods. My golf buddy has seen the video of it. Pretty cool.

Finished assembly of my Cobra irons and hit a couple on the sim. They swingweight at d4-d5, which is a little heavier than I was going for, but so far I like what I’m seeing on the sim. The Score LT shaft feels surprisingly good. The large Jumbomax grips will take some time to acclimate to, but I’m not seeing the push right I imagined I would. Most shots were straight, with a few draws and fades.###

I have played Winn jumbo grips for years and tried one of the Jumbomax on a driver last summer. I have some "Arthur" in my thumbs and if I hit a toe shot I would actually have to drop the club due to the pain. It was like it was trying to rip my hands off. Perhaps that won't happen with your irons.

Getting all the Christmas decor out of the attic. Hard to believe that in 54 years of marriage Mrs. Fatshot
has accumulated So.Much.Stuff. She'll be decorating for a week....I just have to put up the artificial tree. I've

Went with the wife to visit her mother. Doing a few errands and then it’s time to make some Apple Pie Moonshine. Probably get in a workout and see what’s on tv

Finishing breakfast, then off to the barn to tear out the garbage wiring, and make a list of what I need to replace it all. Stupid trailer will have working lights. Owner has already said that he has never been stopped, however my boss has been pulling this thing and I don't need her getting stopped for no lights at night.

Installed a new Kwikset handle too with "smart key", which allows you to recode the locks to fit your old key.
Also did a little darpar whoop whoop on the kick plate with my angle grinder.
