The mold remediation bathroom fiasco is finally complete, so this weekend was my chance to reclaim my garage space. First, painted the wall (back of the bathroom mold wall that was replaced). Then had to rehang my tool racks. Followed by a general cleanout - filled our trash bin, two recycle bins, and one greenwaste bin with an old cabinet that used to hold golf stuff.
My new hydraulic shaft puller arrived late Saturday, so Sunday was spent setting up the workbench area. Late Sunday finally got to pull some shafts. Worked great.
Monday, back to work at home. But I do need to take some time today and clean out one garage cabinet which apparently has become a home for a family of field mice. Two weeks ago when the mold guys were here, one said "saw a mouse in your garage", so I started setting traps. My wife doesn't like cats, so it's my job. I've caught 10 or 11 so far. Using the catch and release traps, I actually got two in one trap at the same time. Very exciting. Finally last night I saw one tiny one in the bottom of one of my cabinets. Time to clean that cabinet out now. Don't tell my wife, she'll freak out.
