Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

With all my traveling being in 3 states with various climates within a weeks time, I came down with a cold. Hotel rooms with the AC cranked down as low as possible probably didn't help either. Just to make sure, I got a C19 rapid test today and it came back negative. They also did a pcr test and I should get those results tomorrow. Rapid results are good for me to feel relieved.

Went down and helped Mom clean up some stuff of Dad's, she's a rock. Got about 10 boxes of 12 and 16 gague shotgun shells.
Went to Jaden's football game(8th grade @ Lakota West) and they ran their record to 2-0 on the season with a 27-0 win. He's playing linebacker and getting some carries at running back. Got a few highlights. Coaches call him "Turbo" and he digs it.

Siphon some water out of the pool again so it’s not over the skimmer.
Vacuum the pool
Sit down for 10 minutes
Go to work until close.

Well, I just got home from taking a horse down to Palos Verdes. I left at 7 last night, it was either that or leave at 3am and be gone half the day. Got down the just after 10, bedded the stall with shavings, unloaded the horse, then the tack trunk, and everything else. Parked the trailer, and headed home. Found a greasy spoon cafe that was still kinda open and grabbed 2 coffees, and a piece of cheesecake for the trip home. Walked in the door at home just after 2:20 this morning. After I wake up, I get to do an oil change on the truck, and maybe play some golf.

My son is home for the weekend. We're going to replace the front brake pads on his truck this morning. This afternoon my daughter has a band competition on the other side of town and we'll spend the rest of the day there.

Economy bender came in today, so the one length irons will be bent upright before the weekend is over. I’ve been noticing a tail off to the right and the toe digging in severely on uphill lies since I shortened them a couple weeks ago.

Put my welder to use making some gate hinges out of parts. I couldn't find these anywhere locally for thre post size I was using so I made some and welded them on the post.

Just got done hitting over 200 balls on the launch monitor. I hit over 100 last night. That little fade I’ve been blaming on my irons? Gone. Not the irons, just a lack of shoulder turn on my part. That also helped getting some distance back, but still shorter than previous. Earned a blister on my right thumb for my efforts……

Dog walk, PGA at Wentworth on tv, then grabbed the pencil bag (7 clubs) and out for a few holes (managed 12) before dinner and another dog walk. Golf was good, wasn't scoring as I was throwing extra balls down here and there and trying different clubs, flights, shapes ...

Funny thing, heard this spoken of so many times but had never consciously tried it, until tonight. First couple of drives I was probably worried about gripping too light, and scared of throwing the club down the fairway 😂. Distance? I've hit longer. Dispersion? Narrow. Will have to try this again, then see if I can add some more speed to it. May use an older driver just in case I do launch it 🤣
