Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

First tournament day at the Scottish Open (and probably the longest day I'll have out of the five - started at 12, finished just after 5:30. I started with ball-spotting in the left rough (from where I took this picture), then was around the green for the rest of the shift.

7 hours of driving to Gatlinburg, TN. Stopped at The Cheesecake Factory in Nashville for lunch. Going to play the Gatlinburg course in the morning if the weather allows. Haven’t played that course in twenty years, but my memory of it is that it is beautiful.

Also getting rain from Elsa so my morning clinic was cancelled but it’ll be nice this afternoon and tonite. Work at 11, giving a lesson at 7.

Draining some water out of the pool, level is too high and the Elsa rain is heavy. Just 2 weeks ago I was looking at having to add water🙄.

Washing machine comes this afternoon. I won’t be home, wife will deal with it. I’ll just be waiting for the complaints over the phone🤬

Having coffee and letting my happy pills kick in. The girlfriend is going to take me for a car ride to get me out of the house. She wants to drive by a vehicle or two she’s interested in. Might take a look at some driver heads I have that I maybe just want to list and not build.

LogicalOne I'd rather see pics of drivers, with stiff shafts in them. Not something I'm inclined to get worked up over.

Misidentified the hole earlier. That is number 1. With a 40 yard drop or so I imagine it plays quite a bit shorter.

Scottish Open featured groups coverage then a dog walk, home for more Scottish Open and a well-timed channel change for the last 30km of the TDF stage, and seeing Mark Cavendish take his 34th stage win to level Eddy Merckx record. I said last week it would be something if he set a new record in Paris next Sunday; there are only 2 sprint finishes to come and that's the final one.

Back to the Scottish Open ... coverage now finished, time for the John Deere ...

Built the DIL a set of Ashtons. She's starting to try this stupid game, and see if she can even hit the ball. Got her fixed up with everything she could need. In clubs....no one can have my swing. 🤣

The ferrules have pink rings, but they look skewed in the pic. Grips are neon pink. Heads/shafts/grips/ferrules, all from DTG.

Someone should have bought these heads, or I should have been playing them. Built the 8i on a steel shaft and played it yesterday. Holy shit! Damn nice heads, wide soles, but you cannot detect the soles at address as being wide.
The hybrid head is a ladies F-Max Cobra from Hurricane Golf on Ebay.

Absolutely no clue, as to what happened with that grip on the PW. Got a bit weak, I'm guessing. 🤨 ( I will fix it.)

Went out to the Marathon LPGA Toledo Classic. Mrs. Fatshot is at our daughter's house, out of town, and some
freebee tickets fell into my lap, so I'll be out there tomorrow too! Must've walked 5 miles though....I'm beat!!

I marked the OMG shafts. DON'T WANT TO RUSH PERFECTION. Gonna tip them both 2". They're going to be the best wedges EVER!!
