Early start, Charity collection & dropoff, and back home to make a tee time in the seniors league. Dinner at club after the match then a friend came around the house to borrow an old set of clubs (*). Walked the dog, found 19 golf balls, watched golf on TV.
(*) Borrowing a set of clubs because he put his old set on gumtree expecting to have them for another few weeks but they sold next day 😂. Never mind, new set was ordered on a 9/10 day lead time and are due soon. Then facebook gossip hinting at delays on his new order, check with supplier - oh they'll be 90 days from order due to shipping problems on shafts (they're probably at the bottom of the Suez Canal), and he was facing long term clublessness ... not for the first time ... 😂🤣
This is why I've never sold an old club set; I've lent a couple out but still have a few in reserve. And just like shoes ... golf_ghirl has even more than me!!!
