LBlack14 Taking it easy today. Had a long day yesterday and being in that brace, on crutches sucks ass. Gonna go through Mike's and get the salt and dirt knocked off the truck to get it cleaned up for new rubber on Thursday.
FauxAmish LBlack14 First time I've ever heard of Mike's Car Wash outside of the Fort Wayne area where I grew up. The Dahm family started the business in the Fort and I went to grade school with members of the family. Heard that two of the brothers split the Indiana and Ohio locations up.
Walterjn CallMeAl never heard of it before. Will have to take a look. I'll probably never use it due to cost though. I still have everything I need to sweat copper together.
CallMeAl Walterjn I used it alot during my working years. If you buy the manual press, it isn't too bad. Plus you can use it on water, air, stainless (with proper fittings) and even gas in some locations.
KCee Going to hit some balls on the simulator right after work. Will probably order new wedges while I'm there. It's the most excitement I've had in the last 2 months!
johnnydoom Did a lot of work on the laptop and over the phone. Took a picture for another thread. Hung out here and posted for a while. Practiced putting on the carpet since I already had the Spider handy. Resisted the temptation to buy a number of things I decided I need during the week-long weather shut in. Getting ready to make a chicken pot pie for the family meal. Got to set the DVR to record Oak Island tonight. Watched a goofy Tom Seguto instruction video on YouTube. Not sure what will be in store after supper, but it won't be much. Son drove to three courses and none of them have re-opened their driving ranges yet after last weeks shut down. 💤
KCee CallMeAl I ended up ordering a Cally MD5 52 S grind and a MD5 56 X grind. I'm replacing MD3 50 and 56 S grinds I bought in 2016. Already bought a MD5 60 W grind LB last year. I was kind of drooling over the Miura wedges, but the Callaway were familiar and half the price so....
LBlack14 PT @ 12:30 then I think I'll glue up a couple putters. No basketball until Saturday, District finals vs. Sprinboro, who we beat earlier this year in OT.
meagain LBlack14 PT @ 12:30 then I think I'll glue up a couple putters. No basketball until Saturday, District finals vs. Sprinboro, who we beat earlier this year in OT. Does your team use the full court press much?
Walterjn PT at 1:30. Other than that check on the barn, get a few bales of grass for the barn, and make sure that the junk collected know what the boss wants saved, and what goes.
fatshot Temps in the 40's the last couple of days, so the "melt" is beginning! Going to walk at the local metropark today, swing the weighted practice club outside, clean out both cars, and tinker in the basement workshop. May make a few phone calls to see if I can find a heated driving range that's open...!!
LBlack14 meagain Does your team use the full court press much? Unfortunately, not as much as I'd like. We get pressured full court more than we use it.
LBlack14 Our boys team's pretty good as well. They moved on in the tournament last night in a barn burner.
Typhoon Finally a nice day outside temp wise. After my workout I finally got to disinfect the dogs kennel area outside. Weather has been too cold to do it and needed the ice to go away. Plumbers are here now putting in a new toilet, faucet and shut offs since everything was corroded. Been here 25 years with the same toilet.
Rickochet Typhoon Plumbers are here now putting in a new toilet, faucet and shut offs Make sure the cut off valves are 1/4 turn ball valves which are easier to use and less prone to corrode and stick.
Typhoon meagain The flange was rotting, the " flushing power" was getting worse. Went with a nice Toto with the washlet. Crazy amount of functions... lighted, automatic lid, heated bidet water, heated seat, built in deoderizer, premisting ...
