Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Dog walk including him chasing a tennis ball for 20 minutes, interrupted by a young spaniel (20 weeks) and they were having a good chase around for a while. Then a 7 month old whippet appeared and gave the two of them the complete
runaround.

Thought I was going to have to carry him home 😂. Fortunately there's lots of streams where we walk so he was able to get a good draught of water. He's slept most of the day since we got home, mind you.

Played a 4-man quota game today at Hernando Oaks, Brooksville, FL. Our team quota was 99 points, with bogeys=1, pars=2, birdies=3, eagles =4. Beautiful day on a tougher-than-usual track. Turf was wet and slow and it was a bit windy, so scores were up. We only amassed 77 points (-22 to quota), AND GOT 2ND PLACE! 😂 Wining score was 19 short of quota.

Shot 83, with 3 double bogeys. I felt good about the driving, chipping and putting. Full shots off the turf are hit and miss, but that's pretty normal for me. I've always been a scrambler. I was the only player in the 24 guys to hit my quota. I've got that going for me......which is nice.

Played this morning - nice day for it, and played pretty well. Being restricted to a maximum of 2 players per group isn't ideal, but there is one major advantage - pace of play. My group was round in less than 2:45 (https://www.strava.com/activities/4824362724) without feeling like we were rushing or hurrying at all (OK - it was a short winter course, but 18 holes in less than 3 hours is always nice!)

No in-person church service today. Partial melt yesterday with re-freeze overnight and the roads are skating rinks right now. Won't last long though. Already 37 degrees and headed to the mid 50s.
