Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

KCee I went through LEDmyplace.com for tubes. They were the only place that I found the 8 footers that I was needing.
I believe this pic is after the 1st fixture was done. Trying to find a pic of the whole place lit up. The far end of the barn is the old florescent tubes, the near end is the new LEDs. My only complaint is that they do interfere with the radio.

Walterjn I think I might just take down the flourescent fixtures and start over, but we'll see. Really I just want LED over the workbenches and that's just 2 fixtures.

KCee I want to do that in my basement workshop.

One thing I always hated was changing the glass fluorescent bulbs overhead just waiting for one to blow up in my face. The LED tubes are plastic tubes with a string of LED's inside with the same two pin ends. You can get them for ballasted and non ballasted fixtures. Just get the right bulb and just switch them out. I got mine years ago at Costco. I think Lowes has the LED tubes as well. I only use one LED tube to replace the two fluorescents and get more light.

Rickochet I have 3 banks of double 8 footers in my garage. They were put under 20 years ago when we added the garage. So I can buy LEDs from Lowe’s or HD when these blow out without changing out the fixture? They don’t have the pins or nipple on the ends, it’s like a rectangle.

I am not familiar with your fixtures. Lowes shows some 96" LED replacements but require some rewiring in the fixture. Easy enough to do if you have some electrical knowledge.

Another busy day at the day job, but got good news today that the limited production LogicalOne L1T golf ball will be arriving early Spring! Pretty excited! 🙂

Well, I think I finally have everything I need for my taxes, so I will take care of those today. Then I will get things entered into my online bookkeeping service thingy, then retake some product photos and THEN figure out how to install shipping and payment extensions for the website so I can get some stuff live on the site (finally)!

49 degrees here - but raining all day per the forecast and the radar confirms it. Probably just go get groceries and think up something interesting to make for supper.
