Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Those strawberries are ass kickers. Good for frozen drinks or to eat, if you can handle the texture. I can't handle the texture anymore so Kelsey (stepdaughter) chucks 'em in the blender for her foo foos.😁

I actually went to Frickers last night for a while and saw some old friends. Place was practically empty. It was GREAT!!

Played my 4th round of year today. Scores are improving (92-92-85-83), but still a lot of rust. Started hot today +2 through 8, but as the heat came my game went south finishing +11 on last 10 holes.

Just tried to order some wings for take out from a place that I have been supporting as a customer many times. Was told that they can't take my order because they are too busy with their in person customers now that they are able to be there. Thanks a lot.

SWMBO and I with daughter #3 and grandson #5 drove our car in a peaceful rolling protest. Stafford county sheriff's department took good care of us with escorts. HUGE turnout, no issues.

Yesterday, did some shoppin' and yes, another putter made it home with me. Then chilled in the garage with some vodka and cranberry and Spotify, which I just discovered last week. We rocked!
Today, Kohl's for some new work shoes and then the Mrs is gonna fire up the grill and chill.

A little step towards normality for me today, with a Sunday round of golf with the usual guys (around 18-20 of us in total, but usually only around 12 play in any given week). Nice day for playing - wasn't all that warm (maybe around 60 at best), but dry with enough breeze to make it interesting - and signs of progress in my game, with a few really nice shots in there even if the overall score wasn't particularly good.

Took care of church activities. Went to the grocery store. Picked up McDonald’s for lunch. Melting into a recliner for a while with thoughts of how to replace our cancelled vacation. Probably be heading to Florida. Maybe try to squeeze in a stop along the Robert Trent Jones Trail on the way - I’ve never played any of them even though some are within 3 hours drive from home. Had to add bee killing to the list. Did a check on the perimeter of my house and found a hornets nest in the bush next to the garage, and some bumble bees going in and out of a hole between the brick and soffit right next to the back door. Blasted ‘em with hornet spray.

Are you having live services in your sanctuary? We were set to go live next Sunday but the staff cranked up the HVAC and other systems this week and we have problems so we had to postpone another week and hope replacement parts can be obtained quickly and installed.

Played in a tournament. Birdied the 18th hole to tie for first. Since we can't go back on the course we have a putt off playoff. I lost on the 4th hole. Oh well, was fun anyway.

mikeintopeka Both. Our live services started two weeks ago. But my wife wasn’t feeling well so we joined online this morning. Last week we had about 120 live, which is about 20% of a normal pre-corona attendance. All of the older folks staying away like advised to, and a lot of others still being cautious as well.
