MartinD Nice little surprise when I got back from the golf course earlier today - a small package with no external sign of source/sender that ended up containing 6 new model Pro V1s...
fatshot Shoveled my first #$%^&* snow of the #$%^&* winter season! Because it was only about 1-2 inches, it wasn't #$%^&* deep enough to use the snow blower, so had to use the #$%^&* snow shovel. Did I mention that I don't like winter.....??!!!

Just got done plowing my driveway, about a foot of wet slushie snow. Sucks!
Typhoon fatshot I have one of these to do my decks. It works so good I use it on the driveway as long as itโs only 3-4โ and not too wet. Wet snow probably less inches. I love it. I have a Monster Ariens but why wheel it out for a few inches. Again, I bought it for the deck and now use it for more. https://www.snowjoe.com/products/snow-joe-24v-x2-20sb-ct-48-volt-ion-cordless-snow-blower-20-inch-tool-only
LBlack14 Taking Payton to Middletown to take her driver's license test @ 10, then to Mason BMV for the license. Dr's appointment with my new surgeon @ 3:15 then JV & Varsity Girl's basketball games @ Oak Hills.
meagain sdandrea1 Good gawd. How many inches fell? Didn't measure it but 10" to 12" I would say. That's what I deserve for living in the "snow belt". We don't get anywhere near the amount of snow that we did years ago. This is rare to get this much at once. I'm around 30 miles from lake Erie and when condition are right (lake not frozen over) we get what they call lake effect snow.
sdandrea1 meagain we get what they call lake effect snow. Like Buffalo NY, right? Just kill me now. I hate snow....like watching it fall, but not clearing it.
Weirfan sdandrea1 its good exercise ๐ i have a 6 car driveway and hand shovel. built a 25 x 45 foot backyard rink for 10+ years and when i had to shovel 6/8/10/ 12 inches off both those , plus the deck and path to the rink it was a good 3 hours.
meagain sdandrea1 .like watching it fall, but not clearing it. It's beautiful out right now. I have a snowplow for my old 1994 S10 Blazer that I bought on ebay 15 years ago. It was like brand new coming from South Carolina. Just use it for plowing or if I need to haul something. Also have a utility trailer for it. Only take me about 10 minutes to plow. Have one of these. No moving parts. Aluminum blade that a little old man like myself can easily lift. Takes about a minute to install:
sdandrea1 LBlack14 SHE PASSED!! Thank you, Sir!! I now have a DD. Congrats! She getting a Hummer? ๐
fatshot Weirfan its good exercise I have to (grudgingly) agree.....still hate doing it though! I'd much rather get out my snowblower and walk behind that, when there's enough snow to warrant it....
LBlack14 sdandrea1 Congrats! She getting a Hummer? Funny you say that, we did decide, on the way home, that we need another H2...for safety purposes.๐
Typhoon meagain 2 weeks ago one of our members pulls in with one of those plows on his Mercury Mountaineer. I loved it... and I keep forgetting to Google the name on it! Thanks for posting!! At this rate I might get one for the Jeep for when unemployment runs out.
