Spuzz colej Ahhh, my bad!
It started this past November when I had some discomfort in my right foot. The dr initially thought it was plantar fasciitis and sent me to a foot specialist, who felt the same way. Long story short, within a few weeks I could hardly put weight on either feet and ended up in the emergency room. They ruled out anything life threatening but neurological tests indicated some form of peripheral neuropathy which ultimately weakened everything in my feet and to a small degree my lower legs. I am now on a couple of nerve related meds to help manage things, which I will take for the rest of my life, and have been doing therapy over the past few months (most of it at home) to help strengthen and condition my feet and lower legs. My days of walking a round of golf are over (thus the golf cart purchase) and even the first walk I went on a couple of weeks ago took its toll on my feet (still trying to figure out what I can and canβt do, including golf). Itβs really not that big of a deal, I just have to find that balance and keep taking the meds and adapt accordingly. ππ
