Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

No work today thank God. The closing guy was out all week so I ended up staying a lot to close plus I started weekend morning junior clinics.

So today are doody duty I have to use the push mower to cut behind the fence, go to the range to try the HOF Black Diamond that I cut back to 46.5”. I had it at 48.5” before, no wonder I had trouble, it was almost as tall as me. Supposed to be nice out, maybe float around in the pool and then go out to an outdoor place for coffee later.

Apparently I’m helping wash the rats in a few minutes.... this should go well.

Sad to say, but Typhoon's rat wash will probably top anything I have planned today in importance. Listening in on a web meeting now followed by a project status update with my boss. Afternoon is a web training class. Zzzzzzzzz.

Just applied Scott's fall application to the front and back lawns. Later, I plan to reshaft a club I want to try
tomorrow. 18 holes with the usual group of retirees tomorrow!

It was a fun day off, got everything done, killed the ball at the range. The Black Diamond shaft worked great at what ended up as 47” instead of 46.5 but I choked down a “CH”. I can use that as my new playing length.

After I got homecome, cut the long grass behind the fence, we all went to Starbucks and then up to NH. Checked out the new Corvettes, looked for Durango SRT’s but came up empty and then went to Red Robin and ate in the car!

Discovered an XCaliber wedge shaft I must've had in a Maltby wide sole wedge, and had an XE1 65 degree wedge head laying around, so I paired them up. Did the same with an Adams 9064 driver and the blue MCS 75 shaft. Maybe I'll get a chance to try them at the range tomorrow after work

The xe-1 wedge is magic especially out of green side bunkers. One of my guys last year had one in the bag and he hit it just like the commercial said, no adjustments and the ball came out like magic, spinning like a bastard and right next to the pin. I saw a used one in the bin one day and almost bought it.

you let me know if you want to get rid of that wedge shaft (if it’s the spin shaft). One of the guys on this forum (Gatorman) loves that xcaliber spin wedge shafts.

Found a forgotten Ping G5 driver in a bag in the storage room today. I remember buying it at a garage sale a few years ago($5 iirc), but never hit it because of the really soft shaft. I did try a repaint on it back then, without stripping it 1st. Didn't turn out too good so thought I'd redo it the right way. Then I thought, just re-shaft it and use it as is. Gonna go out now to put the grip on. Just what I needed, another driver. 😆

I remember liking it when I was carrying just one wedge outside my set. Picked up some Matrix wedge shafts from DTG and have them in the 52 and 60 EZPZ heads.

2 males, Lemmy and Vincent. We’ve had rats as pets before but these we got from a breeder so they were babies when we got them. They’re great pets, fun, smart. They don’t bite, they’ll sit in your hood, on your shoulder...

Wife is usually on poop detail for them. Every couple days because we have 2 of them, we have to freshen up the bedding and clean up some. They are cuties!

Just said goodbye to Jamez and the hobbit. They are heading home tonight. I'm all alone in the condo awaiting a ride to the Palm Springs airport in the morning from rangerx.
Life is good and 13 rounds have been played in the last 8 days. What a great vacation with great people. Did I mention I had two birdies today?
