Today, I hit the range with a buddy of mine. I have been working on more proper rotation and less hands/ arms. I think I was hitting my driver a little better, my irons were a little hit and miss. When I hit them well, they were great.
After 2 trips around, a few of us were bs'ing on the patio and someone brought up the idea of a grounds keeper's revenge. We were discussing what could be done, we like the idea of a false pin with the flag in the rough by the green hole locationon the green, marshmallows on the fairway. Tee boxes 2 and 9 are right next to each other so we thought about moving the #2 blue tee box to the white tee box of 9, which puts a large tree right in line so you either go over it or under it. Thing is, it's an elevated green. Someone brought up longest drive with a marshmallow, then someone had to ask about marshmallows and drivers compared to an iron. One of the guys went to the store and bought a bag of marshmallows and we got to experiment a bit.
After that I went home, got my parts for my push cart and assembled it. Got it rolling straight, then figured that the front wheels would rub on my bag, so I extended the front wheels and had to mess with the alignment so it would roll straight again. I'll see about getting some pics for you all tomorrow when I take it out. We'll see how straight it goes down the fairways.
