Typhoon Pool guys are here and like the last pool, it doesn’t line up perfectly with the deck. The last one I had stair treads to fill the gap between the “elbows” and the deck and ran on the deck and under the top rails. It came out great. This one has almost no elbows so there will be a space plus it’ll be a bit higher than the deck. Wife is already trying to figure out angle cuts for the piece of trex I’ll probably run. God help me.

CallMeAl Got to a little over $6k when they were finished. Lots of panels underneath. New exhaust, new rear bumper, alignment and maybe a wheel plus labor costs. Adds up Quickly! I can see a "Cash for Crash" Sale coming up....

Rickochet Taking our morkie Anni in for her normal grooming. She also gets an allergy shot, allergy pills and often has to get the vet to work on her ears. Another expensive day, but whatcha' gonna do?
Weirfan Leaving shortly to pick up my High School best friend at the airport. He's flying in from Boston for a week. We golf today and tomorrow and them head fishing up North for 4/days with 2 other buds. Crazy thing is we were inseparable for years, all through HS and rented a house together for several years after University but haven't seen each other in 18 years 😗. we had a trip planned last March to golf in Hilton Head and celebrate our 60th bdays which are a week apart but he had to have a large brain tumour removed, then suffered a stroke post op. A stark reminder of how fragile life can be. Should be a fun reunion .
Typhoon Pool guys left at 5 yesterday and then I had to go to the pool store and Pet Store… so the gym was out ( on the list of things John likes). Today I’m hitting a couple accounts and then I’ll go home to get out the pump and filter and hook that up while the pool is still filling. Maybe have time before working the pro shop at 3-close to go to the range but I doubt it.

Typhoon Well sure as shit…. I’m a mile from the house and she calls me tell me the garage door sounded like a gunshot and won’t work. I’m pissed because again, every fuckin day of my life over the last couple years is something. Spring broke. Now I’m outside doing the pool🙄. Luckily by myself. So much for the range
