Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Installed a new range hood in the VA casa. The basic piece of shit Pulte installed 5 years ago quit working. Got a nice unit from Lowe's.

I have been looking at some Broan hoods from Lowes. I like the way they install. You just screw in a bracket and slide it in. The last hood I installed was a beyotch taking several pairs of hands. My current hood is unvented and I want to install one that direct vents out the back wall. The fun part will be cutting a 4" x 10" rectangle out of the brick veneer wall.

Well, I am screwed now. We haven't talked about replacing the range hood in 6 months. The issue is the color with the existing one being bisque as is the range and refer. Bisque appliances are getting more difficult to find. So she could decide with stainless or bisque. She hates the range anywho. I brought the subject up today because I want to get the through the wall vent installed before cold weather. She finally said ok lets do it in stainless. She also wants to replace the range in stainless. I am guessing the bisque refer is in jeopardy too. Bless her heart. 😁

I met with a new client this morning and wrapped up the paperwork, scanned, and emailed it to my back office for review.

This evening my wife and I are going to a micro-brewery on the edge of town and meeting friends. They have a popular regional reggae band playing outdoors so it's going to be a lot of Marley with some Santana, et al sprinkled in out in their wide-open area for proper spacing. Here's a video of Urban Safari filmed at in one of the venues in our neighborhood entertainment district a few years ago.

Finished trimming the lawn, did some edging, cleaned the kennel and deck, picked up poop, took a picture of it for Sparky, went to work. Sitting outside in the dark now having a beer.

Just 4. I stay on it everyday because, 1. I have nothing else to do, and 2. The kennel is under the deck so when your sitting outside it’s right under you and beside the pool and pool deck.

Saying farewell to our dog. I’ve only known her for a month, but Phantom was the nicest and most gentle dog I’ve ever known. She’s been lethargic lately - barely wanting to get up to go out. Took her to the vet and he checked her out and did some bloodwork. Said she was fine physically and that perhaps she’s grieving and not dealing with the major changes well. I guess there was some hidden condition because I found her dead this morning.

Oh Gad Johnny... I’m so sorry, that’s terrible. It’s great that you were going to give her the nice life she deserved. Must have been some underlying problems like you said.

Typhoon We certainly tried to. She was 11 and a half years old according to some paperwork we found, so I kind of expected her to be around for a few more years. I was pretty sure she was actually sick, but the vet checked her out on two different days a week apart, and had some extensive blood analysis done. He didn't think it was much to worry about and Phantom was real tough, not showing any real outward signs of pain. She seemed ok when we went to sleep last night, but was no longer with us in the morning. Just took her out to be cremated. Surprised at how inexpensive that actually is.
