Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Ride from hell today.....started out in 85 degree sunny Florida weather. About an hour into Georgia, we
ran into the same weather the Masters got.....crappy. Add in a couple of those "unexplained slowdowns"
you get on busy interstates where traffic slows to a crawl, and it makes for a long day. Stopping in
Northern Georgia for the night. It'll be good to get home.....!

actually getting small refunds (about $500 fed, $500 state) for a change. not sure really how that happened, but OK.

just glad the small side hustle turned a small profit in this high-inflation economy. Always nice to make a little $ from a hobby you enjoy

sad that didn't get to watch the Masters really since it was rained out, oh well more to watch tomorrow.

Will be having Easter here with our oldest, her 3 youngest (track meets for the oldest), my MIL, Beck, Pay and me. Having a "Honey Baked" meal, ham, turkey etc, etc, etc. Then I might cut the grass.

Going out to buy fertilizer and power wash soap. Gotta get that done this week. Working at the golf course 11 until close.

Celebrated Easter with about 9,000 people in a church service in Nashville at the Opryland Hotel convention center. Ate with a family from our home congregation at The Cheesecake Factory. Drove 3 hours home from Nashville. Unpacked. Decompressing and enjoyed watching Jon Rahm close out the last three holes of the Masters. Boy is using the TV for gaming right now, so I'm on the laptop catching up on the past 3 days.

WFH today. Playing nursemaid to my wife who had foot surgery on Friday aka "the worst patient ever". I witnessed it, but still have no idea how this woman birthed 2 children as she literally has zero tolerance for any pain or discomfort. Not sure I can take 2 weeks of her staying off her foot.

Wumbo the kitten has arrived. He’s an adventurous and friendly little fellow so far. He’s hung around the people and hasn’t gone off into some hiding place. He meowed quite a bit, probably trying to get his mom and the other cat he lived his first two months with to come see all the cool new stuff. He’s found a nap spot nearby and sleeping now after an hour of exploring and play.
